A little about me

 

I always have a ball of yarn and a hook near me — it's even become my profession. My name is Lisa, and I've been the creator of Au Fil des Laines since 2024.

It all started in 2021, almost by chance. Crocheting was a hobby, learned alone watching video tutorials. Very quickly, it became much more: a need to keep my hands busy, and the freedom to bring to life everything I had in mind.

Initially, I didn't tell anyone about it. Then I stopped my studies, in which I had felt a bit lost, and decided to truly take the plunge, a leap of faith...

I built a colorful universe, very different from what I wear daily — full of warmth, and light, to brighten up this world a little. All while highlighting this craftsmanship, as a tribute to my grandmother, who, when she was younger, taught me the art of working with yarn. She is no longer here today and never saw what I create. But I like to think that, wherever she is, she is proud of it.
